She'll Be Right: A Zombie Romp
Book by Adam Spedding
Music & Lyrics by Brayden Jeffrey

PRODUCTION HISTORY:

She'll Be Right: A Zombie Romp began as an idea of Adam Spedding who was studying music theatre at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA) in Christchurch at the time, he then took it to his childhood friends Brayden and Liam.

During a seven-year development process, She'll Be Right: A Zombie Romp has been subject to multiple smaller live readings and also a mini-workshop (songs and scenes). Feedback and input have been provided on the script and music which gave guidance to the early stages of development. Currently, up to version 19 of the script, the show now exists as a full written musical including music and dialogue. The video link at right relates to the last rehearsed reading at the Civic Wintergarden in Auckland in May 2019...

Although creation of the play
Pacific Post pre-dates the formation of
Fantail Farm Productions, it remains an important work for us.
Written as part of the Master of Arts Practice process and based on Stephanie's family and a letter written by her grandfather to her grandmother during WWII, this play went on to be produced at The Court Theatre with Stephanie directing and Ross playing Bud Smith. Another production of this piece may well feature in Fantail Farm Productions future...
